Privacy
We do not ask for your name or email and we set no cookies. But for the site to work and for us to see what people read on it, your browser talks to a few services. Below is what those services are and what they see.

Who is responsible
The data on tuka.events and on the city sites is the responsibility of the private individuals who make this project. You can reach us at [email protected].
Visit statistics
To see which pages and languages people read and where they get lost, we use PostHog (PostHog Inc., data stored in the EU, in Frankfurt). It collects, on our behalf: the address of the page you open and where you came from; clicks on links and buttons (their text and address); scrolling and where on the page you click; your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and browser language; the country and city worked out from your IP address. PostHog does not keep the IP address itself.
We do not recognise you
For statistics we set no cookies and write nothing to your device. There are no session recordings or surveys, and the site has no accounts. To count visitors, PostHog computes on its server a hash of your IP address, your browser details and a secret that changes every day. The next day, the same person counts as new. We have nothing that could link a visit to your name or email.
Legal basis and how long
We keep statistics on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): making the site clearer for its readers. It needs no consent, because nothing is written to your device. PostHog keeps the events for no longer than one year.
Who else sees your IP address
The site runs on Cloudflare: hosting, faster loading, bot protection and cookie-free page view counts. So Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser details with every request. The map loads its base layer and fonts from tiles.openfreemap.org, and that service sees your IP address too. Cloudflare and PostHog are American companies. Where data reaches them in the US, the transfer is covered by the safeguards GDPR provides: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
What the site keeps in your browser
If you choose a colour theme, the site remembers your choice in your browser’s localStorage. So that the Back button returns you to the same place in a list, the site keeps your search and scroll position in sessionStorage until you close the tab. This is only for the site to work and is never sent anywhere. You can delete it in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to the statistics. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within a month. Fair warning: we keep no IP addresses and do not recognise visitors, so we will most likely be unable to find your visits in particular. Many ad blockers stop the statistics from loading, though not all of them. You can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg).
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes, for example when the site gets sign-in. The date of the last change is shown at the top.
